DOCUMENT YOUR FAMILY AS THEY ARE.
Family is rarely found in the moments when everyone is perfectly posed.
It lives in the way your mother laughs at your father, the stories your grandparents tell, the children running through the house, and the traditions you repeat without realizing they have become traditions.
Family Season is my annual invitation to document those moments and create photographs that preserve not only what your family looked like, but what it felt like to be together.
YOUR FAMILY. YOUR STORY.
I approach family documentation much like documentary work. I observe, listen and look for the relationships, gestures, environments and quiet moments that make your family yours.
There will be photographs where everyone looks toward the camera. There will also be photographs where nobody does.
You don't have to create the moments for me.
Your life together is already the story.
FAMILY SEASON
The experience begins at $495
The $495 Creative Sitting Fee is the starting point for your experience. From there, your investment is tailored to your family, your location and how you want your story documented.
Includes:
- Pre-session creative planning
- Approximately 60-90 minutes of documentation
- One meaningful location
- Documentary photography with intentional portraiture
- 20-image curated story
- Broader edited gallery
- 90-day gallery access
The 60-90 minute window is a creative guideline, not a stopwatch. Some stories unfold quickly. Others need more room. The goal is to recognize the story when it happens.
THE STORY I SEE
I believe a complete story can be told within 20 images.
After your session, I carefully select and sequence the photographs to create the story I saw while documenting your family.
You'll also receive access to the broader edited gallery, giving you 90 days to revisit the experience, discover additional moments and decide what belongs in your own version of the story.
Your 20-image collection is the story I saw.
Your broader gallery gives you the opportunity to create more of your own.
Add photographs, select individual moments, or begin creating something tangible from the archive.
MORE THAN A PHOTOGRAPH
Children grow. Parents age. Families change.
The photographs we make today eventually become part of the history of who we were together.
My hope is that years from now, your children and grandchildren can look through these photographs and understand more than what everyone looked like.
They can see who you were together.
