THE PEOPLE I'VE SEEN

When you photograph someone, you have an opportunity to capture both the seen and unseen versions of that person. We naturally perform when we know we're being watched, but I'm interested in what exists beyond the performance.

I like to photograph life in motion while also paying attention to the quieter moments that reveal who someone is when they aren't trying to be anything at all. A gesture. A glance. A pause. Something unguarded.

The images I love most are the ones where a connection happens instantly. You see something familiar in someone you've never met, and for a moment, the photograph feels less like an observation and more like recognition.
